What gets me so angry about pro-lifers is when they compare abortion to genocide, they forget rape. Rape is and was a tool everywhere to demean and hurt women and to force them to comply to demands.

In Operation Searchlight, when Pakistan wanted to defeat Bangladesh, they raped 200 000 women. Two hundred thousand women. There were stories where soldiers came during a wedding night and murdered their relatives while the bride was raped repeatedly in front of her groom and then left for dead. There were stories were 9 year olds and their grandmothers were raped and some of them were captured and sent to locked cells so that they could be assaulted again and AGAIN and could not commit suicide. And then you sit here in your privileged cushy life and go on and on about how life is sacred. I’m looking at you Americans, the ones who funded the military weapons needed to kill us in the first place.

Many of these women had to get abortions because they refused to have the baby of a murderer that slaughtered others and died in the process. The Pakistani army wanted to make sure that most women were raped in order for the Bengali ethnicity to be destroyed. And then you stand up with your cardboard signs talking about how sluts and whores get abortions while my parents shake and cry remembering how they had to escape by a cramped boat to not get killed, while I see pictures of women with their breasts cut off and their genitalia cut up with a fucking bayonet and you have the gall to keep going. Women of colour in the Congo are being raped for this very reason and getting pregnant by the very monsters that stole their lives and here you are, praying for abortion to stop.

You disgust me.

Look at these people, look at these women and then decide if abortion is wrong in all cases. Because ethnic cleansing means rape and thousands upon thousands of unwanted babies whose fathers are savage creatures hellbent on ruining a group of people that are different than them. You talk widely of racism and sexism being eradicated, want to help little black children in unnamed African countries to save your sorry souls but you can’t have the empathy for these women who died in absolute insanity because of these men. You have no empathy and I have no respect for you or your goddamn opinions.

there was no statement about white people. stop fucking derailing a post that didn’t even talk about white people or how evil they are in the first place, cause this isn’t boohoo let’s have a pity party for those poor people that are so evil and so generalized

what were you referring to when saying “i’m looking at you americans,” then? i agree wholeheartedly with this post and in no way am i trying to make this all about americans. i’ve never even been to america, for god’s sake. all it seemed like was a personal attack against the entire nation of america when it wasn’t necessary at all to get the point across.

what i’d just like to point out is that america is not the only country in the world who has a close-minded view about other parts of the world. they are not the only country that thinks that whatever they’re doing is saving a lot of people. a lot of other nations and a lot of other people of other backgrounds have similar views, and the americans shouldn’t have been blamed OR generalized for all of that.

that’s how this post seemed like to me, and it upset me, so i commented. i don’t see any reason my comment had to be sarcastically responded to just because i didn’t agree with one statement and felt the need to speak up.

when did i say that all americans suck? I am talking about how the American government gave the military weapons to the Pakistani army in order to kill more Bangladeshis simply because the Soviet Union was allied with India who supported us. No one is fucking saying that all Americans are terrible people, I was talking about the politics surrounding the genocide in the first place. I didn’t say that there weren’t other close minded countries and the fact that you had to actually mention that even though that’s a given shows how much you read about them.

My family has been through this genocide, they have talked about it many times, giving me stories and telling me terrifying things that they did to us people so yes I’ll throw out sarcasm because someone decides to make it all about the poor American white people when it wasn’t about them in the first place, when a lot of pro-lifers from America give hate to people from other . I don’t care if you felt upset. I don’t care because my uncle showed my parents the scars on his fucking back where the army beat him and shot at his friends with American-bought weapons. 

i read your post very clearly before replying, and that line, although problematic, didn’t set me off until you refer to the general population of america rallying about whores and sluts, how they’re adopting african children, and how they’re all wrong. step back and realize that i am OPEN to what you are saying. you are shooting me down as fast as you can because you think i’m trying to defend white people because they can do no wrong but i’m not.  i reblogged it because i felt as if it was antagonizing america when the point is it SHOULDN’T all be about them. it’s NOT always about them.

Read for crying out loud, read about white savior complex, read the pro lifers who talk about whores and sluts having abortions, christ! No, I don’t care about your emotions, and no, I don’t believe that I am superior than you, but all you’re doing is whining about how terrible it was and how dare I speak out about my experiences which equals suddenly shoving it down your throat.
